The armour is free from rust and in good condition
Memorial Notes:
Allegedly the door was reinforced with horse armour from the battle of Tewkesbury, that was collected from the battlefield and beaten out into strips. It was then used to line the back of the Sacristy door in the Abbey that housed the Abbey's treasures
