Memorial Notes:
According to Peter Bramley (The Wars of the Roses: A field guide and companion (Stroud: Sutton Publishing, 2007), p.227) Tempest fought for the Lancastrians at the battle of Wakefield (1460) and at the battle of Towton (1461). He was attained by Edward IV, but was afterwards pardoned and went on to betray the location of Henry VI after the battle of Hexham.
