Battle monument

The battle monument, by Enzo Plazzotta, was presented to the town of Lewes by its MP Sir Tufton Beamish (later Lord Chelwood) in 1964, on the 700th anniversary of the battle. Scenes from the battle of Lewes encircle the helm on a bronze chaplet.
