Just 15 miles to the east of Edgcote is Grafton Regis, home of Edward IV's wife and main residence of the Woodville family, who were key players in this phase of the Wars of the Roses. Unfortunately little remains of their great mansion and there are no significant monuments there. Indeed there are no places in the vicinity associated with the battle which have significant features justifying a visit.

The nearest battlefields are the Civil War sites of Cropredy (3 miles) and Edgehill (10 miles), both were linked to Edgcote in 2006 by the Battlefields Trust through the development of  a walking trail and a driving trail. The nearest Wars of the Roses battlefield is Northampton (20 miles).
