Many books have been written about Bosworth, but the most useful in terms of placing the action within the historic terrain are those isted below. Foss was the first to argue for the site of the battle to be along the Fenn Lane close to Stoke Golding rather than Ambion Hill. Foard and Curry's book provides an account of the archaeology discovered during the Heritage Lottery Funded Bosworth Battlefield project which finally located the battlefield.
