Ralph Sneyd was buried on 7 April 1643 at Church of St Margaret in Wolstanton, Staffordshire, England (Find A Grave: Memorial #182202671) without a memorial, but is mentioned on this memorial of Richard Lloyd 1606-1676 who married his daughter, Margaret.
Vnderneath lies interred
Sir Richard Lloyd
of Escluse in this parish and Dulassy in
the County of Carnarvon, Knight,
Governor of Holt Castle during the Great
Rebellion and afterwards Chief Justice
of North Wales. A loyal and devoted
subject and servant of the Royal Martyr
King Charles I
whom he received at
Brynyffynnon in this town in the year 1642.
He married upon Septr. 4, 1632, Margaret
daughter of Ralph Sneyd of Bradwall and
Keele in the County of Stafford, Esqr., died
May 5 and was buried on the 12, 1676.
The Monument above erected to his memory has
been cleaned and repaired in the year 1877 at the
cost of W.W.E. Wynne Esq. of Penarth and
Thomas Longueville Esq. two of his descendants and
co-representatives.
