Here lieth Isham Parkyns Esq, eldest son of S George Parkyns Colonel and Governour of Ashby de la Zouch in ye Civil Wars against ye rebels in King Charles ye 1st time. By Cathrine Cave his wife he had 4 Sons and one Daughter (viz) George, Richard, Theophilus,Thomas & Catharine. He died June ye 21st 1671 aged 70. She died Feb ye 12th 1664
