(AT THE PRESENT JUNCTION OF PARK ROW AND PARK STREET)
THROUGH WHICH ROYALIST TROOPS ENTERED
BRISTOL AND COMPELLED ITS CAPITULATION.
HE WAS THE GRANDSON OF LAWRENCE WASHINGTON
OF SULGRAVE AND A COLLATERAL ANCESTOR OF
GEORGE WASHINGTON (1732-1799)
