Battle of Edgcote 1469
Thursday 24th July 2025
Graham Evans, chair of the Northamptonshire Battlefields Society and expert on the battle, will lead the Society's annual walk of this lesser know but important Wars of the Roses battle.
Meet 2pm at The Griffin Inn, Culworth Rd, Chipping Warden, Banbury OX17 1LB.
The walk is around 5 miles in distance across paved footpaths/roads and farmland and will last around three and a half hours.
Non members of the Battlefields Trust or Northamptonshire Battlefields Society will be asked to make a donation to the Society.
