The Battle between King Henry III with loyal barons and Simon de Montfort with rebel barons led to victory for the latter. lt was a significant step towards Parliamentary Democracy. The event starts at 10.30 each day with the re-enactors processing down the High Street, stopping three times to re-enact scenes from the battle. Events will then take place at Priory Park throughout the day.
