Battle of Fenny Bridges 1549 - Information board unveiling, lectures and living history

To commemorate the 475th anniversay of the battle of Fenny Bridges and the Prayerbook Rebellion, the Friends of St Andrews, Feniton have organised a day of events culminating in the unveiling of an information board about the battle which has been partly sponsored by the Battlefields Trust.
Events, lectures and the the unveiling of the information board will take place in and around the Village Hall, Feniton, Honiton EX14 3BB. The programme for the day involves:
10am - Coffee (£4 for drink and cake - cash only) in the village hall.
10:30am - Arming the Rebellion - Short talk by Dr Ed Fox (included with Coffee charge)
11:15am - A showing of 'The Reformation' a film made by EWTN that involved local people and places.
12:00pm - Living history group Commotion Times will provide a demonstration behind the village hall.
Lunch will be available to purchase in the church. Cash only.
1:15pm - Murderous Midsummer: The Prayer Book Rebellion of 1549 a lecture by Professor Mark Stoyle. This lecture will cost £6. Cash only.
2:30pm - The unveiling by Richard Foord MP of a new interpretation board about the battle of Fenny Bridges.
2:45pm - Refreshments available again in the village hall
