Battle of Cropredy Bridge 1644

Join Anthony Rich for a short walk across the battlefield of Cropredy Bridge where the parliamentarian general Sir William Waller’s efforts to mount a flank attack on the royalist army were thwarted and which resulted in his army disintegrating in the days following the battle.  

Meet outside the Braesnose Arms. Station Rd, Cropredy, Banbury OX17 1PW at 2:30pm.

The walk, which will be partly cross country, will last around two hours.
