Here lieth the Body of Sir Thomas Carnaby, Knight and Colonel, who served his King and Country in the Time of King Charles I. and King Charles II. valiantly and faithfully. He died at the Age Of 46, the 20th Day of September, Anno Domini, 1665. Veni Domine Jesu."
