Memorial Notes:
Huntingdon Grammar School attended by Oliver Cromwell in the early 17th C. It is a surviving fragment of a monastic building, converted for school use in the 16th C and heavily restored in the 1870's. It became the Cromwell Museum in 1962. The plaque was unveiled in 1938 and was the first to be erected by the Cromwell Association.
