THE TYPES OF INFORMATION AVAILABLE
History explains the background to the civil war, the soldiers who fought at the battles of Brentford and Turnham Green, what happened during the battles, the landscape at the time, the people involved and the sources of information used to compile these pages.
Visiting the Battlefields tells you how to find and travel to them and what other attractions are nearby. You can also download a visitor’s leaflet and see the information boards which have been installed on the battlefields as part of this project.
The Project explains its history, provides details and pictures of the opening ceremony and details links to organisations involved in the project and to other useful civil war related websites.
Education provides resources developed by the project for use by teachers
