Battle of Tewkesbury – Anniversary Event

Sunday 6th May 2018

This will be an all-day event including morning coffee, a presentation on where Tewkesbury sits within the Wars of the Roses. taxi transfers to King Edwards camp at Tredington & walk back along the route of the Yorkist advance on the day. A tour of the battlefield itself, followed by lunch  and a presentation on the aftermath of the battle including a guided tour of the battle burials within the Abbey. Entrance into “Arms and Armour” at the Abbey, a living history re-enactment of a medieval tented enclosure.

 

A charge of £30 per person will be made to cover all food, taxi fares and entrances.
