First Battle of Newbury 1643
Sunday 17th September 2017
Dave Stubbs will be leading a walk over Wash Common following the events of the first battle of Newbury. Meet at the Falkland Memorial (opposite the Gun Pub, RG14 6NE) at 2.30 p.m.
This walk is part of the ‘Newbury Heritage Walks’ programme so it will be an official ticketed event and part of the town council programme. Tickets £5.00 per person, £4.00 concessions and under 16s free, available from Newbury Corn Exchange; details below:
