Russet-Coated Soldiers: A Conference on the British Civil Wars

Friday 7th to Sunday 9th July 2017

In conjunction with the National Civil War Centre (NCWC), the British Commission for Military History (BCMH) is holding its summer conference on the theme of the British Civil Wars at the NCWC, Newark Museum, Nottinghamshire from 7 to 9 July 2017.

 

The keynote lectures will be provided by Professor John Morrill (University of Cambridge) and Dr Andrew Hopper (University of Leicester).

 

The conference will include lectures and discussions on military aspects of the Wars, tours of civil war Newark and a re-enactment / living history presence.
