Battle of Myton 1319
Sunday 8th September 2019
A 700th anniversary year walk around the field that witnessed a Scots/English clash during the First Scottish War of Independence. Join Louise Whittaker to find out why. The 90 minute (approx) walk starts at 10:30am on the footpath near St Mary's Church, Myton-on-Swale, YO61 2QY.
The walk is free to Battlefields Trust members. A £5 donation is requested from adult non-members towards the work of the charity.
There are no public toilets in Myton village,and please park on the grass verge as farm vehicles use the road.
