Our final talk will be on 13 December 2022 at which point there will be a recess over the Christmas holiday. We are beginning to finalise the next series of talks and begin our Spring programme of lectures in January.

Finally, being virtual events, we occasionally get some minor issues with sound and picture quality. This, to some extent, depends on the technology in use by the talks host, speaker and of course your own computer technology. The Zoom Tech Group has put together a new and updated series of documents to help you get the most from  your Zooming which should greatly improve the experience. These can be found below.

We hope you have enjoyed our series of talks so far and look forward to welcoming you at a talk soon!

ZOOM ADVICE & SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

Whilst using Zoom you may, from time to time, experience connectivity issues. The Trust Zoom software is hosted by Zooms USA servers and quality often depends on the equipment that the listener is using, whether this is smartphone or a computer.

In order to get the best quality sound and images the Trust has put together a new document which gives helpful advice when attending a Zoom lecture. This document can be found on the link below:

There are further supporting documents which will help you to get the most out of our Zoom Lectures. These are:

GUIDANCE FOR TALK ATTENDEES

The Trust has set up an online survey to gather feedback from members about the new online programme. It would be greatly appreciated if members could take a few minutes to fill out the survey in order to let the organisers know what is working well and what can be improved or developed. You can complete the survey by clicking on the link below:
