Battle of Marston Moor 1644 information board unveiling and battlefield walk

Saturday 30th June 2018

Meet at Marston Grange (Tockwith Road, Long Marston, York, YO26 7PL) at 10:45am (follow signs to parking behind the barn at the farm). Car share will operate to take people down to the battlefield monument for the unveiling of the new battle commemoration panel by Prof. Peter Gaunt, President of The Cromwell Association, at 11am. We then return to Marston Grange for tea/coffee, followed by a guided walk around part of the battlefield for those who wish. Finish time approximately 2pm. Please bring sturdy walking shoes/boots for the walk.
