King John, Magna Carta and the Barons Wars

Julian Humphrys, Battlefields Trust Development Officer, will be talking about “King John, Magna Carta and the Barons’ Wars” for the Knaresborough Historical Society. King John is reputed to have spent more money on Knaresborough and Scarborough castles than on any others in the kingdom.

 

Time: 7:30pm

 

Venue King James’s School, King James Road, Knaresborough, North Yorkshire HG5 8EB.

 

Price £2 to non-members of the historical society. Pre-booking not required.
